Life Happenings ~ October 2015 (birth month)

Annyeong!

It's been a while... I missed writing personal things here.. It's already November of 2015 and here I am, wanting to talk about the previous month. Lol.

So how are you doing, guys? I hope everything's perfectly fine! As for myself, I'm doin pretty well. Haha

So yeah, October was my birth month. I was born on 10/08/93 so I am 22 years alive already! Hahaha.

For the past few months, I'm a total bummer. I don't have a job right now, but will sure get one maybe next week? lol. idk, i feel too lazy thinking about it. 

I didn't have a lot of money for shopping, or makeup hoarding recently. I am always staying at home. I wanted to write and do reviews, blogging or even doing youtube videos but im a lil out of focus. I'm still not that confident. waaaah it's so so so cray cray. Plus, I need a dslr yow.

I've been spending most of my time alone, or i mean with my Chii. Just the two of us. 

Babyboy is always asleep coz he's on a night shift.

Sometimes I'm going out with my friends, but since I'm broke, I still can't do what I want. haha, thank goodness I have my baby boy to catch me. Honestly, he's been the one who provides me most of my needs. I feel embarrassed about it, but i'll repay him someday hahaha ( pag sinipag mag work, chaaarot! )

So there, last month is a special month but I think I haven't done anything special except last Oct. 7, when mom cooked pasta and chicken for me and my friends then we went out to buy badminton racket. lol.

aside from that, yeah.. idk anymore. maybe when we celebrated our niece's birthday? just that..

i wrote this so i can tell myself that i should be more productive this coming months. im hardly accepting responsibility but the sad part, I can't avoid it. T.T I don't wanna get old, but i have to. all of us will. Can i slow it down? hahaha

I have here Lipsticks and Blush ons from Sansan under Rosanne's Collection. Got them from MyHBC Alimall branch. :)

 I will be sharing to you my thoughts on these items and swatches.

Purchased all the shades of this collection's lipsticks and blushes, i should have bought their polishes too! :D

SHADES: (on both lippy and blushers)

-Blossom kisses - it's a barbie pink shade

-Berry bloom - kinda corrally bright pink

-Sweet glow - super baby/light pink shade

^ Cute packaging, It is in a pretty pink box with a gold bar on it. The boxes shows the manufacturing date which is 8/20/2014 and the expiration date: 8/19/2017.

^The product ( both blushers and lippies ) claims to have SPF15 and Vitamins A, C and E which is good. :)

^The lipstick and blush shades were like paired. There's a corresponding lipstick for every blushers, and they do have same shade names.

Blush Collection:

*So Affordable! Retails for 75php only! Available only at HBC stores.

* Simple container, typical pink plastic.  It doesn't have a mirror or applicator.

* It has a shimmer, just tiny ones.The lightest shade (sweet glow) can be used for highlights. (It's like a cotton candy!) 

* Berry bloom is my favorite, i love corally shades, and it's quite like that. Matches my skin tone very well.

* Pigmented, be careful on how you dab or dip your brush! Softly, girls.

* Chalky, because it's quite soft. It's not that bad for the price! Just blend it well.

* It stayed on my face, for 7 to 8 hours. (I didn't use face primer.)

* It's a good 8/10 for me and a thumbs up! :) I don't regret buying these cute blushes!

Lipstick Collections:

* As we all know, very affordable for a cute lipstick. 98php only!

* Sweet glow is the sheerest shade. Can be used under, for pink ombre look.

* Blossom kisses is my favorite, it's so easy to apply not that thick nor sheer. Gives pretty shade on the lips. I can wear this everyday.

* Berry bloom is a deep corrally? (sort of) pink. A lil bit thick when applied. A showstopper color when worn. lol

* It has a scent, fruity? candy? ... but I'm not bothered.

* Good pigmentation. After a while, it leaves a stain on the lips, which is not bad.

* The colors can't hide it when you have chappy lips, be sure to exfoliate your lips first or a balm is a must. 

* An awesome 8/10 for these lipsticks. When I say 8, it's a promoter yow!

* Overall, I don't regret having these babies on my stash. I'm more on the affordable side so these are a steal! Pink lovers would definitely enjoy these. Be sure to get the nail polishes too! I will.

REVIEW: ESSENCE STAY ALL DAY 16 HOURS MAKE UP

Just to share, roaming around SM Cubao and purchased this one but it's not really part of the plan, just strollin. Haha. I was just checking what are their products, then the sales lady kept on talking about on almost all of the items. Then convinced me to buy this one.. also.. 2 lippies, 1 lip liner and 1 eyeshadow duo.

 For this particular foundation, I wasn't able to confirm the actual price until I reached the counter. +.+ 
Not rich, so I was quite shocked. Although, it's my fault I know. I should have checked.  😅 



The product retails for 319php, it's expensive for me already but what more can I do, it's there already.. hihi. Let's go ahead and check it's performance. Heads up, i have an oily-combo skin type.



 Product details:

I got the shade 10 soft beige (i guess they have a total of 4 shades to choose from). 

Good thing it has a pump, so convenient. 

It has 30 ml of the product.

It doesnt have SPF.

The product claims to last up to 16 hours.

*It has a creamy consistency, yellow undertone (good for medium to fair skin tone) and I can say that it blends well. As for the scent, at first I don't liked it, but when I finally finished applying the foundation on my face, I can say that it's not really bothering. It smells slightly, like a sweet scented perfume? Well, perhaps i just personally hate sweet or candy scented perfumes.

(excuse my face without makeup on. lol)

* i do have visible pores, few redness and blemishes.

(After Application: 1 Layer) 

*I used my fingers to apply the product, and I can definitely say that it has an awesome coverage (medium to full coverage), plus it's light weight.

Well, it's buildable, so no worries!

*It held the makeup altogether evenly and I can no longer see my blemishes.

(with a flash)

*No white casts. As long as you have it blended well, it won't cake too. :)

As for me, it's not that good for oily skin, but it depends on how you will apply it. I can say that using a primer before application and setting it with a mattefying powder after, would definitely help. An 8 to 12 hour longevity isn't bad right? yeah. use the trick! 😁

It lasted on my face for 7 hours, after that I rinsed it off. I am unable to test the entire 16 hours, I can't stand it! 😆 yeah, I dont want to have it that long on my face. Haha. But the coverage by that time is still good, although my T zone oiled up already. A blotting paper will surely help. Well, as for the foundation being used alone, the lasting power is good enough. Good thing, despite of the oil and stuff after few hours, it doesn't feel heavy and sticky! 

The saddest part, if you're acidic beware of oxidation! It happened to me after few minutes. It would be great to choose one to two shades lighter than your skin tone or as for this shade, you may use a lighter shade of setting powder to even it out.

Overall, I can say that it's a good buy. Can be good for everyday use especially to those who does office works or always staying at an air conditioned place. 

The product is available on SM department stores and Robinsons, in Trinoma too! (through kiosks).

Careline BB Cream .. first impression and review!

WHITENING

25 ml.

 1. the 1st lower photo shows my bare face.. with all blemishes exposed.. lol

2. 2nd lower photo, already has the BB cream applied.. it has a medium coverage.. light weight.. i dont feel that there is something in my face.. it actualy suit my skin tone.. :)

3. the 3rd one ... captured with my makeup on.. *the packaging is kinda cute in a pink tube.. well, its ok for its price.. just 120php.. longevity? hmm good for 3-6hrs for me huh.. without retouch.. maybe because i have an oily skin.. :) 

a good alternative for foundation.. and can be for everyday use.. just so natural.. hihi .. lets see how this cream will work for me in the future..
